Arke

Arke [Greek] “arch”

Daughter of Thaumas and Electra. Sister to Iris (her twin) and the Harpies. Messenger goddess for the Titans who had iridescent wings. When the Olympians won the Titanomachy, Zeus ripped her wings off and cast her into Tartarus; her wings later graced the feet of Achilles. Sometimes associated with the faded second rainbow.
